Job Title Recruiting Manager

The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for attracting, recruiting, and hiring top talent. This position will oversee recruiting for our Safety Management Systems division and will be based out of Lafayette, La.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Actively participates and/or coordinates the recruitment, selection, retention, development and performance management of the SMS Recruiting Team
  • Creates and manages candidate pipelines for all roles within SMS through constant outreach efforts
  • Creates, implements, and manages recruiting strategies and processes to meet operational needs and customer expectations
  • Identifies the cause of recruiting issues and quickly implements solutions to meet staffing needs
  • Manages openings on division’s website
  • Monitors employment law and labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the recruiting process compliant
  • Designs and develops recruitment measures and reporting
  • Works with Operations Management on all recruitment topics and staffing needs

The position requires an experienced professional with knowledge of federal and state employment laws, excellent communication skills, and strong customer service orientation, along with a degree in HR or related field.  Must be willing to travel and work evenings and weekends when needed.  Minimum of 5 years HR/Recruitment experience with proven history of successful sourcing strategies resulting in long term retention.  Previous HR/Recruitment Management at the corporate level with a minimum of 2 years of experience leading and growing a high-performing recruiting team in a fast paced and demanding environment preferred.
